And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. Sept 23, 2008 (Margaret) My son-in-law Bill has got 2 lumps in his throat that he thought were just swollen glands. But after 2 wks they began to hurt and one has gotten bigger to the point of pushing his adams apple over. Dr is sending him to the hosp for CT scan and labs. Bill is an alcoholic and already has abnormal liver labs. He's not a smoker. He needs Jesus more than anything.

Every Sunday morning we do childrens church for approx. 100 kids (1-15 years old). Most people who are in church do not really know Jesus. Several men have more than one woman, they are still attached to Voodoo and so their children do not see a very good example from their parents. Please pray for the very young children, that they take home what they learn in childrens church and talk to their parents about it.
A 54 year old man with TB was admitted this week, his heart is dark. Please pray that he will see Jesus through our medical treatment (2 months in the hospital - 6 months at home). His sister wears voodoo clothes and I asked her to change them. She did but her heart needs to change too.
Suzelene is 24 years old, lived at the voodoo-doctors house for 2 years. She seems mentally and physically disabled. We too care of her since the beginning of this year, but there is no progress. We tried to find a new home for her but it seems that she has gone back to her family who already tried to burn her (to get the evil out of her). Please pray for her safety.
June 11, 2008 Pray for Jan who fell and broker her hip. When asked how she spends her days she said "I pray continually and go on the Internet." Jan is 93 years old.
June 8, 2008 A man asks for prayer who has been struggling with pornography for the past 30 years. He wants prayer to be freed from this bondage.
June 6, 2008 Word from Burma (Myanmar). The UN estimates that there are 133,000 dead and 2.4 million survivors of Cyclone Nargis. Over 1.1 million have not received any kind of aid yet. Word from Rangoon says that the junta, those ruling Burma, are withholding aid to the Karen people. The Karen people are predominantly Christian. The junta have waged genocide against the Karen. We need to pray for these people. The powers of darkness are strong throughout the world but He is able to bring peace and relief.
June 5, 2008 Can you put another prayer request on the website? A guy named Rob had cancer in his leg about 7 years ago and survived with surgery, radiation and chemo. But in December he stumbled over a cord and snapped his femur on that same leg. Bone biopsy was negative and they found it had broken from being weakened by the radiation that had been done. As of w months ago, x-rays showed no healing taking place in that bone, so he's still at home on crutches, unable to work. He goes in Tuesday for x-rays to see if there's any bone growth, so pray that his leg will heal!
June 4, 2008 Margaret, in Southern California, asks for prayer for her grandson. He is nineteen and is a 'powder keg' of emotions. He has severe depression and suicidal ideation. Every two weeks or so, he requires emergency room intervention. Pray for Joel and his family during this very difficult time.
June 4, 2008 Anne-Marie in Haiti asked us to pray for them. They serve a population close to a million people. The needs are so great and numerous. They need food and medicine. The people are literally starving to death. Anne-Marie and her husband Rob, are working in an area closely held and contolled by the powers of darkness. Pray that they will have the strength and endurance to continue. Pray that God will pour out His Spirit upon this land.
May 24, 2008 Strength in facing metastatic breast cancer for Kathleen. Strength in facing health problems for Teresa. Courage for Thomas to become alcohol free, continue to work, develop a healthy relationships with his daughter and family. For him to let go of anger and frustration in all areas of life and follow through with probation. Positive outcome on June 4th for Thomas' court date for increasing visitation with his daughter. Peace of heart and mind for any court testimony Margie has to give in court. Safety for Pebblez, stability and letting go of anger for Krissy, Pebblez' Mom. Thank you very much. |
